Cargo Transshipment Station in Miritituba
Cargill s Cargo Transshipment Station (ETC) in Miritituba (MTB) is considered a strategic point for grain flow in the Arco Norte of Brazil. Operating since January 2017 in the district of Miritituba in the state of Pará, ETC is located on the right bank of the Tapajós River and has a capacity to handle 4 million tons of grain per year.
The unit receives solid bulk (soybeans and corn) produced in the state of Mato Grosso, from where they are transported by trucks to Miritituba, which receives this product and subsequently loads it onto barges, destined for Santarém (PA), which in turn exports products by sea to various destinations around the world.
Cargill Miritituba was built with modern equipment such as 4 tippers measuring 26 meters each and two manual hoppers. The unit has four classification lines with hydraulic heaters, two road scales, one for input and one for output, and storage in 03 silos with a capacity of 18,000 tons each.
