Two options of flakers
FLAKER WITH SPLIT BEARING HOUSING
- The bases are made of steel plates welded and machined together, to maintain the same level of the bearing housings;
- The bearing housings are solid, made of steel, and easy to disassemble, 2 of which are fixed by screws to the base and 2 are movable, proper for moving the rolls using hydraulic controls. The bearing housings are supported on rectified steel rails at the top and bottom;
- The thickness of the flakes is adjusted using a system of double-action Parker hydraulic pistons of Ø203mm, without tie rods, mounted in the rolls pressure line, with independent pressure adjustments.
FLAKER WITH SLINDING BEARING HOUSING
- The bases are made of nodular cast iron and machined together to maintain the same level of the bearing housings;
- The bearing housings are split and articulated by a pin. They are made of nodular cast iron, 2 fixed and 2 movable articulated, proper for moving the cylinders through hydraulic controls. The fixed bearing housing is screwed to the base and the moveable bearing housing is fixed by a pin;
- The thickness of the flake is adjusted using a system of double-action Parker hydraulic pistons of Ø153mm, without tie rods, mounted on the top of the bearing housings, with independent pressure adjustments.
