Main features

Robust and easy to operate;
Equipped with first line rolls;
Power transmission by only one motor, what allows equal maintenance of the two rolls if compared to flakers with one motor for each roll. The speed difference between the rolls is obtained by transmission with pulleys and belts, providing a work of disruption of oil cells much more efficient;
Easy removal and mounting of the rolls from the frame. Removal of hydraulic cylinders is not necessary;
Flaking rolls mounted with spherical roller bearings drive system which provides different speed for each roll;
Safety stopper to avoid collision between rolls; easy adjustment performed by the operator without the need of long stops;
The adjustment of the flake thickness is done by hydraulic piston system, with independent pressure adjustments through external device, mounted in the main body of the flaker;
Automatic operation;
All covers are made of stainless steel;
Set of vibration dampers. Special fixtures are not required;
Automation of feeding flow by the main motor amperage. Electric system with frequency inverter;
Sensors to check the accumulation of material on the rolls.

Feeding hopper and homogenizer set

The feeding is done by an exclusive homogeneous distribution system, with double shafts for mixing materials with different granulometry. Feeder is equipped with self-cleaning magnet system.

Two options of flakers

FLAKER WITH SPLIT BEARING HOUSING

The bases are made of steel plates welded and machined together, to maintain the same level of the bearing housings;
The bearing housings are solid, made of steel, and easy to disassemble, 2 of which are fixed by screws to the base and 2 are movable, proper for moving the rolls using hydraulic controls. The bearing housings are supported on rectified steel rails at the top and bottom;
The thickness of the flakes is adjusted using a system of double-action Parker hydraulic pistons of Ø203mm, without tie rods, mounted in the rolls pressure line, with independent pressure adjustments.

FLAKER WITH SLINDING BEARING HOUSING

The bases are made of nodular cast iron and machined together to maintain the same level of the bearing housings;
The bearing housings are split and articulated by a pin. They are made of nodular cast iron, 2 fixed and 2 movable articulated, proper for moving the cylinders through hydraulic controls. The fixed bearing housing is screwed to the base and the moveable bearing housing is fixed by a pin;
The thickness of the flake is adjusted using a system of double-action Parker hydraulic pistons of Ø153mm, without tie rods, mounted on the top of the bearing housings, with independent pressure adjustments.
