Preparation and Extraction of Vegetable Oil - CHAPECÓ (SC).
The company TNL TECNAL delivers the largest project in the history of Cooperalfa. On February 25, 2022, at 9:00 am, Cooperalfa inaugurates the largest industrial project in its entire 55-year history. This is the new oil industry, with a total built area of 195 thousand m², located in the Tomazelli Line complex, Rodovia SC-283, km 3, s/nº, in Chapecó, west of Santa Catarina. The new Soy Processing Industry, started in January 2020 and completed in February 2022, was designed and built by the company TNL TECNAL, a pioneer in Brazil in the production of equipment for the extraction of vegetable oil.
The construction of this preparation and extraction plant will allow Cooperalfa to triple its soybean processing capacity, as the new factory is designed to process 2,500 t/day of soybeans. “For us at TNL TECNAL, it was a great privilege to be part of this historic moment for the cooperative”, declared João Sílvio Pocay, president of the company TNL TECNAL. He added: “About 40 years ago, my father opened the doors to this successful partnership and today I am thrilled to see that I have been able to keep this legacy alive.” The new oil industry project has a complete plant for the preparation of incoming soybeans, the extraction of seed oil, as the main product, and the storage of bran to the soybean peeling process.
The equipment that makes up the new industry was designed, built and installed by TNL TECNAL, using the best production capacity and global technology. In this preparation process, we highlight Tecnal s warm hulling, with two phases of breaking the grain and separating the husks, which reduces energy consumption and maintenance, eliminating the need to install a vertical grain dryer with a wood-burning furnace. In the oil extraction phase, the technology applied reduces the consumption of solvents and the water used in the process passes through a Tecnal Zero Effluent System, where this water is treated and reused, following the new environmental standards required.
Commitment and responsibility.
